Chad Shaw is a 34 year old natural bodybuilder from Madison, Wisconsin.His personal story and journey in the sport of bodybuilding has been made famous and inspired many from all over the world. He is also best known as an inspirational figure in the world of bodybuilding because of the seemingly impossible odds that he had to overcome in his early years to get where he is now. In early 2009, Chad Shaw was featured on the front page of Bodybuilding.com for over 3 months and has also managed to be one of the Top 6 most inspirational members on bodyspace, which is quite an achievement. With over 20 years of experience, Chad definately knows his stuff when it comes to building mass and getting lean.

Josh Hyaduck

Josh Hyaduck is definitely a rising star and the future of natural bodybuilding. At age 22 with 11 years of training under his belt he is rapidly gaining attention in the bodybuilding industry. After just receiving sponsorship from MuscleTech Josh plans on winning his natural pro card at his first show. With his killer genetics, determination and help from his trainer (Jim Cordova) Josh will definitely make an impact in the fitness industry.

Bobby Rosen

Bobby was always interested in building a killer physique from a very young age. After growing up on such movies as Superman and Hercules, Bobby felt he had to get his body to their status one day. It wasnt until his senior year of high school, until he got serious and started weight training consistently 4-6 times weekly. Bobby feels that bodybuilding challenges him both mentally and physically and that every day is a new experience, learning something new. All of his motivation comes from looking at photos and videos of his competitors and seeing what has to be done to beat them. After his first competition he was completely hooked and he feels that in the upcoming years he will be able to pack on some serious mass and look his absolute best.

Fern Assard

Fern has always been skinny but has not been happy with how she felt. After having 4 kids she craved that long, muscular and lean look. Fern is a 39-year-old divorced mother of 4 who works in a dental office by day and is a gym freak by night. Her first show was FAME, and she placed 1st in masters 35+ fitness model. The 2nd was an NPC figure and she placed 2nd Masters 35+. The third show was a Musclemania in which she placed 6th in figure. After her shows, she built more confidence in herself. Fern went back to the gym to gain yet more muscle to bring in a better physique in the Fall season.

Ed Cook

Edward Cook is a very popular and inspirational bodybuilder from the United States. At 55 he is in the best shape of his life and continues to inspire many individuals all over the world. Nicknamed “OldSuperman”, Edward Cook is definately, “Built To Last”! The story is even better when you see what he looked like just six years ago. What an amazing difference! In 2002 Ed, at 243 pounds, was your typical middle-aged guy with a typical middle-aged waistline that greatly exceeded his chest size. The doctor said to Ed, “Change your lifestyle or die young.” Ed took that seriously and then some! Now “Old Superman,” from Vancouver, Washington, is a prime example of what you can do if you really apply yourself. Married for 31 years and the father of four adult children, he looks better and is in better shape than men half his age. At 6’ and 228 pounds, Ed has been competing in NPC masters bodybuilding contests, taking first place a few times. And he’s planning to do more.

Jordan Chabinsky

Jordan is WNBF Pro recently making his Pro debut finishing 3rd in the Light Weight class at the inaugural WNBF Mid-America Championships in August 2008. Jordan has bachelors and masters degrees in Physics and Engineering. Additionally, Jordan is preparing to test for both the NSCA and the ACSM CPT exam. As an analytical mind, Jordan employs systematic and complete training philosophies to his competitive endeavors to add size, strength and to refine his symmetry. Jordan employs these same principles to those whom he trains at his Nashua NH based private training studio; Element Fitness. Jordan has been competing with the INBF/WNBF since 2004, as well as assisting and offering expertise in classes, camps, and seminars on posing, training, and overall contest prep.

James Dawson

Martin was born in Chester but the majority of his childhood and teenage years were spent growing up in a little town called Kidderminster in Worcestershire, England. Martin is a product of the internet. He got noticed in 2004 when he posted his personal motivational videos on Youtube and bodybuilding forums. “I was lucky to get some a huge response to my pictures and videos and had people interested without even seeing any professional work of mine,” he revealed. By 2008, Martin has been photographed by big name photographers including Ronald N Tan, David B Smith, and Bill Comstock and has appeared on “Muscular Development Online Magazine.”

Mona Rosene

After competing in bodybuilding, Mona knew her career would be focused in the fitness and nutrition industry. Educating about the health and physical changes that can be made with simple dietary modification quickly became her passion! Mona received her BS degree in Exercise Physiology, then pursued a Master’s degree in nutrition. She soon completed the requirements to be a registered dietitian. Mona provides expert health and nutrition information with logical messages that are applicable to today’s busy lifestyles. Her “no-nonsense” approach has helped hundreds make the transition to a healthier lifestyle and reach their personal goals. Her areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, sports nutrition, behavior and lifestyle modification, weight loss, diabetes education, and digestive problems. Mona has appeared on local news stations discussing nutrition topics ranging from trans fats to staying hydrated. Locally, Mona is involved with state and regional dietetic associates as a member of the Public Relations committee, as well as treasurer. On a national level, Mona is active in the Sports, Cardiovascular, and Wellness Nutritionists (SCAN) and the Nutrition in Complementary Care subgroups of the American Dietetic Association. Mona not only educates people about becoming healthy, she walks the walk by teaching spin classes, cycling, competing in triathlons, weight training, practicing yoga, and hiking with her dogs.

James Albury

James “Skip” Albury began his fitness journey at the age of 18. James only weighed 125 lbs. His friends encouraged him to begin weight training, and in just a few years, he was able to add enough muscle mass that he began to feel better about himself. He ate better, trained consistently and at the age of 28, James competed in his first bodybuilding competition, where he placed 2nd in the Lightweight Novice division. Eight years and five competitions later, won the Overall Men’s Open title in the Gainesville Bodybuilding Championships. His passion for fitness eventually led him to a management position with Lifestyle Family Fitness. Although he’s now working as the coordinator of the Kika Silva Pla Planetarium at Santa Fe College, he plans to continue competing in bodybuilding and helping others achieve their fitness goals.
