How did you get started with bodybuilding?

I got my start in bodybuilding in 2007, when I first met my boyfriend, John Foster. At the time I was a fashion design major and had not been in a gym since high school. Once we stepped foot in the gym and he got me lifting heavy I knew I was hooked!! That same year he took me to the Arnold Classic where I was chased down by a major supplement company and was asked to sign with them.

From that day on I knew this was my path in life!

Where does your motivation come from?

My motivation comes from the people that look up to me.

I have always been a motivated person but to read emails from people that aspire to be like me really pushes me to be the best I can be.

What workout routine has worked best for you?

Most recently I have been really into Crossfit. It’s a great combo of strength training, toning and cardio.

Full Routine:

Monday: Chest/CrossFit

  • Incline Fly’s 3×10
  • Incline Bench 3×10
  • CrossFit Style Training 45 min

Tuesday: Arms

  • EZ Barbell Curls 3×12
  • Hammer Curls 3×12
  • Incline Dumbbell Curls 3×12
  • Tricep Push Down With Rope 3×10
  • Dumbbell Tricep Extension 3×10
  • Dumbbell Kickbacks 3×10

Wednesday: CrossFit Training

  • CrossFit Style Training 45 min

Thursday: Shoulders/Abs

  • Dumbbell Shoulder Press 3×12
  • Dumbbell Lateral Raises 3x 12
  • Bent- Over Lateral Raises 3×12
  • Dumbbell Front Raises 3×12

If you had to pick only 3 exercises, what would they be and why?

  1. Walking Lunges – I have found that they are the best way for me to build the booty
  2. CrossFit – It is the perfect way for me to stay toned and leaned out
  3. EZ Barbell Curls – I love to train my arms I could train them all day if I could

What is your diet like?

I always try to eat as clean as possible. I found out the hard way that having cheat meals don’t work well for me. I noticed that when I eat clean my cravings for junk food go away. When I do allow myself to a cheat meal it is typically after a photo-shoot or big event.

Daily Diet:

  • Meal 1: 4 Egg Whites & 1/4 cup of Grits
  • Meal 2: 5oz. Chicken Breast & 1/4 cup of Rice
  • Meal 3: Protein Shake
  • Meal 4: Lean Beef and 1 cup of Green Vegetables
  • Meal 5: 40z. Chicken Breast and 1 cup of Green Vegetables
  • Meal 6: Protein Pancakes

When trying to cut down do you prefer to use HIIT or just normal cardio?

100% HIIT training! It takes up half the time and you feel amazing afterwards!

What is your supplementation like?

I love Prosupps! All of their supplements work very well for me. My personal favorite is Crash it’s a nigh time weight loss pill which helps me sleep and I feel refreshed when I wake up!
