How did you get started with bodybuilding?
I quit the swim team after three years of competitive swimming because I wanted to look like triple H.
What is your training routine like?
My routine is constantly changing, but the fundamentals remain the same:
- Adapt your training to your diet and recovery ability and not the other way around.
- Progressively overload your muscles over a period of time, not necessarily in a linear fashion.
- Always find at least one thing to improve on every time you work out.
- Never do a maintenance workout
What is your Diet like?
- Always high protein: with plenty of healthful fats, fish, Lean ground beef, chicken, eggs, skim milk
- Carbohydrate quantity will depend on how intense and how frequent my training routine is at the time.
How do you stay motivated?
Bodybuilding is a privilege. Not everyone has access to a gym, healthful food, supplements and information. I do, so I damn well better make the most of it.
What is your supplementation like?
I take my staple supplements daily aswell as an intraworkout product on training days and occasionally a preworkout supplement.
- Multivitamin
- Vitamin C (3000 mg a day in multiple doses)
- Fish Oil (12 caps a day in multiple doses)
- Glucosamine, Chondroitin, MSM, Cissus Quadrangus (joint health)
- Creatine (2.5-5g a day)
- Beta Alanine (4-6 grams a day split up in multiple 2g servings)
- NAC (600mg a day taken with 1000mg of vitamin C)
- Whey Protein – (1 scoop with skim milk upon waking, 2 scoops postworkout with carbs)
Plans for the future?
I would like to get into Fitness Modeling, Writing and Natural Bodybuilding competitions. And on the non-fitness side of things, I would like to write and direct more stageplays and possibly films. Hosting, Radio and Voice Overs.
