How did you get started with bodybuilding?

I grew up active in sports and have been on stage since I was 3 in dance and pageants. It’s like second nature to me! I’ve always been interested in competing in “fitness” and it just took me a little bit of time to find my way into it!

I met my trainer, Greg McCoy, at a local bikini competition and from there I started to train and diet for my first contest.

Where does your motivation come from?

My motivation comes from my passion for this sport. If I didn’t just love the outcome from all of the hard dieting and training, things would definitely be a lot different!

I have a drive for making myself better and I absolutely love being on stage plain and simple.

What workout routine has worked best for you?

I’ve had the most success with a four day training split. I split up my body into two groups, upper body and lower body. I train each group twice per week.

If you have to pick only 3 exercises, what would they be and why?

  1. Glute Kickbacks: Not a favorite but I am always down to work on my booty!
  2. Shoulder Press: They always seem to get me a good pump going and who doesn’t love a good pump
  3. Abs: It takes a lot for me to get tired on abs so I like to challenge myself and see how far I can go each time!

What is your diet like?

I have a fast metabolism so I get to eat quite a bit of good food!

I’m naturally thin, and it’s hard for me to maintain muscle so I prefer to use normal cardio over HIIT.
